Welcome new Board Members

Dear Families,

As we head into the new year, I would like extend a warm welcome to the new parents who will be joining our board as of Jan 1, 2022.

Michelle Lampa is currently the Director of US Operations at M Squared Lasers, Inc., a photonics and quantum technology company. One of her motivations for joining the board is to encourage more interest in STEM and more open-minded, curious thinkers among the next generation. Michelle is the parents of Logan, a Nature School student. With two younger children in addition to Logan, Michelle looks forward to being part of the CLC for years to come.

Hongshuang currently serves as Vice President of Risk Data Science team at Citizens Bank. She moved to Sharon in 2017, shortly before Rory was born. She and her family enjoy living in Sharon and appreciate everything from Cooperative school. She is a proud parent of Rory who is a Coop student. As board member, she hopes to contribute to the diversified and loving community at the schools.

Sarah Miller is Assistant General Counsel at the DTCC focusing on data services. The proud mother of Liam, current Nature School student, graduating in 2023 and Quinn, a Cottage Street elementary student, she joined the board to be an active participant in community education and is passionate about supporting local teachers, families, and students.

Sara Rothenberg is Billing and Collections Manager at Riverside Community Care, a non-profit organization that provides behavioral health services with respect and compassion.  She is particularly knowledgeable about and devoted to Riverside’s two Early Intervention Programs, which serve children from birth until age three. Sara is the proud parent of one Coop graduate, Harrison, and one current Coop student, Magnolia. As a board member she wants to contribute so that future Coop families have the same wonderful preschool experience that her family has enjoyed.

Jason Worrall has worked in Accounting his entire career and currently leads the US General Ledger team for Akamai Technologies in Cambridge. He is the father of current Coop student Colin (Coop Class of 2023), Coop & Nature School 2021 graduate (Tommy) and future Coop student Mollie. Jason joined the board because he believes in the schools’ mission and wants to more deeply engage in the Sharon community while supporting the school in furthering its mission to teach children in a community setting.

Early childhood education is my passion and I have worked in this field since 1998, first as a teacher and then as an administrator. Child centered learning in a supportive and developmentally appropriate setting is the key to high quality programs. As the Executive Director at the Cooperative Learning Community my focus is on supporting my team so that they can focus on their children and families.
