Thomas Bentley (he/his) joined the Cooperative School Community as a parent in July 2023 and board in January 2026. Thomas is an Associate Vice President of Leadership Giving at the Boston Foundation, Greater Boston's Community Foundation, and is a senior leader in the foundation's Philanthropy Group. He works on major gifts to the Boston Foundation and provides philanthropic advisory services to family and corporate clients. He joined the Foundation in January of 2016 after an 8-year tenure at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts . Thomas holds a master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Wheelock College where he was selected as the student commencement speaker and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Roger Williams University. He is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) by the American College of Financial Services. He resides in Sharon with his wife, daughter (a Chestnut), and son (who will start at the Cooperative in the fall of 2026).
